Kim Walters

Kim Walters started her insurance career in 1976 working at Mutual Benefit Insurance Company in Huntingdon, PA. After working at Mutual Benefit for seven years, Kim left the company and went to work for her step-father Lewis D. Brown, owner and founder of Brown Insurance Agency in Orbisonia. Kim and her husband Rodney purchased the insurance agency in 2000 following Lew's retirement. In 2017, Kim & Rodney sold the agency to their long time employee, Clay McMath. Rodney retired from the agency and Kim continues to work part-time. Kim attended the Professional Insurance Agents School of Insurance in 1983 and received her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2002. Kim is also a member of the Insurance Agents & Brokers Association. Kim lives in Shade Gap with her husband Rodney. They have one son, Logan, who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Mansfield, PA. Kim has a very unique gift of remembering client names, their children, their family ties, how long they have been insured with the agency, details of their coverages and vehicles listed on the policies. Kim is also a very caring person and will always take the time to listen to anyone that wants to talk.

Kim retired in December 2021.
